Dear fellow gun owner:
The six assembly Democrats who voted on Tuesday for the Personal Protection Act concealed carry bill have been getting a lot of calls -- from people who are angry about their vote.
That's usually the way it goes for legislators: they only hear complaints.
It's time that they heard from the people who support the bill, and hear that their courage to stand up to their party leaders is appreciated. They were under enormous pressure to vote against the bill.

Three of these representatives -- Steinbrink, Van Akkeren, and Vruwink -- are now being heavily pressured by the leadership of their party, and especially by Governor Doyle, to vote to sustain the governor's promised veto.
They must hear from you. They must hear that, for those of us who support the bill, this is not a Democrat versus Republican issue. This may be political for Governor Doyle, but it's not for us. It's a matter of having the ability to defend ourselves.
Please take a few minutes from your busy holiday schedule to contact each of these representatives and thank them.
